a peaceful moment

there is nothing dearer to this mama's heart then the sweet faces of my little ones sleeping and that final kiss before i am off to bed.

on this night i went upstairs to do my final round of tucking in and kissing... and there they were... all three boys snugged in together sound asleep.  well, one awoke and moved when i decided to take a picture, but it was such a heart warming sight after a long day.  with all the arguing over the toys, who has this, who is better at what.... at the end of the day, they love one another.

fathers day

these past few months have been pretty tough for this daddy.  broken leg and ankle with every complication possible.  and its still on the mend, non-weight bearing.

i wish we could do more... hike, swim, walk around, anything but sit... but these boys were content being with daddy, building a pirate ship, and gifting him handmade picture frames.

logan is 5!  his favorite party ever because it was shared with his cousins.

late afternoon

steamy, splash pad time in the late afternoon.  water is a must when its 110 degrees outside.

the fort

they decided it was time to go camping, i decided it was time to do the next best thing... build a fort! it ended up under luke's bed.

each little boy decorated his special part of the wall.

they gathered pillows, other belongings, and were set for at least part of the night. a few retreated to their beds at 2am.

lily was all ready to sleep in there with them.  loves her big brothers.

the star wars party

on the way to pick up the cake, i remembered that i needed some candles as well.  i almost bought a number 3 and 5.  oh, wait, they are 5 and 7!  my oh my, the time does go by fast.... too fast.

my little babies are growing up.  what a sweet bunch they are.  i love all their energy.
