last day of school

last day of school and we tested them with a few games to make sure they were ready to move on to the 3rd grade.  they passed and we moved on to the outdoor fun.

then there was the 'after party' party...at the pool reserved for the entire school.  its been a party week, for sure! great last day fun.  i am hoping to have lots of get together's with these wonderful families over the summer.  luke did his first jump off the high dive and can't wait to do it again.

kinder social

he got the awesome artist award... no surprise there.  and he brought home piles of art work (of course, i will be taking pictures to share).  love him.  all his kindergarden sweetness.  kind of wishing he could stay right there.  if i could only pause time for a moment.

luau

perfect way to end the school year...luau fun for all.  i think they had a blast, i know i did.  they have all grown so much this past year.

landon has made so many little friends this year.  its fun to see them interact.  there are a few that are in swim lessons with him, so the fun will continue all summer long.

its swimmin' time

another summer full of swimming.  both luke and logan are on team this year and have already had a few meets.  what better sport for summer... especially summer in arizona.

to be completely honest, my favorite aspect of swimming is that they are in the water, getting great exercise, and able to swim.  just the fact they can make it back and forth across the pool puts a smile on my face. they love the ribbons and metals.

at this meet logan won 3 metals, a first and two third place. luke won a sixth place metal.  it was a big deal for logan to bring home some metals (after years of watching luke do it) and a big deal for luke to control his emotions and be happy for his brother.  huge accomplishments for both boys.

its going to be a summer of learning good sportsmanship.

safari

my little kindergardener logan set up africa in the front room and put on quite the show.  its been a busy month at school.  complete with an african hand painted t-shirt and band aide on his arm where he got his 'vaccinations' to go on the classroom safari.
