Pinnacle Baseball

Pinnacle Baseball Team....I am so impressed with this good natured, fun, dynamic group of athletes.  My kids had a blast getting out and playing ball with the team.  It was a bit of a struggle to get Logan and Landon out there.  They said they did not like baseball...then when asked if they wanted to throw a ball, hit a ball, run bases, they were all for it.  Logan was even hitting balls with a hula hoop going around his waist.  Perfect way to spend our Saturday morning.  Go Pinnacle Baseball Team!!! We will be at a game or two this season!

Make A Wish

I know what my wish would be if I had just one....just one wish.  There are nights when I wake up at 2am, my cheeks wet with tears and a pain in my chest that is so deep.  I want to save her from all the pain, the chemo, the challenges that lie ahead.  I want it gone...all of it.  But it is not my choice, God has another plan and I have to have faith in him.  I struggle with this every day and it wears on me and my family.

When Make A Wish made an appearance in her classroom, it was a dream come true. We all need this.  A time to go together and experience something magical.  We do not know what the future holds, but can embrace this time, this life together.  Thank you, Make A Wish, we needed this to give our family strength and to grow.  This journey has not been easy.

Lily said the fairy is going to give her some wings so she can fly to her castle.  When she woke the other night and said she was having a bad dream, I told her to think of the fairy, and flying away to her castle.  She drifted to sleep.  Dreams do sometimes come true.
