this was how the weekend started...

four

choo-choo!  perfect weather and the perfect place for us to celebrate landon turning 4!  he was quite the character that day.... making silly faces while we sang to him, taking pictures of me with his little camera.

landon, my love, what you lack in size you make up for in personality.  i love waking up each morning to your sweet face.  my witty, spirited little one.  always wearing a smile or a smirk. i can't get enough of that popeye grin.  you are the fastest of them all.  at times my most challenging.  always ready with a response.  persistent in what you want. quick to learn and help others. you notice the bows in little girls hair.  even though you say lily is not your friend or your sister, you keep an eye on her and play with her when you think my head is turned.  the day you came into this world, my life changed forever.  i am so blessed to have you as my child in my life.  i love you.  happy four.

Australian Play

how fitting that this year's play was centered around australia, a place they have never been but have heard  so much about. a place we hope to visit loved ones someday.

logan played his part well, they all did.

little lil

she did it.  she survived her year of chemo.  her hair is growing back.  her eyes gleaming with excitement. her cheeks full of color.  so much energy and life pouring from her body.

it has been a little over a month and she seems to feel better and better each and every day as the toxins wash away.
