my sweet logan has a new look.  last night while eating an apple he told me his tooth felt 'funny'.  he paused for a minute and pulled it right out.

he was so excited to use the new tooth fairy pillow.  and even more excited when he woke to a two dollar bill.  precious.

it does not seem all that often these days that children get to have two great grandmothers to shower them with love.  blessed, truly blessed.

blessed my little ones get to know and love their great grandmother.  so wonderful.  brings joy to my heart.

 

lately

the past few weeks have been extremely busy as we run from school, to swim, to soccer, to birthday parties and chess tournaments.  i am truly amazed at how much my little ones can do AND want to do.

summer will soon be upon us and i look forward to some unscheduled, lazy days by the pool.  the long hot days where we end up eating ice cream for dinner.  the sweet smell of sun on their skin as i tuck them in at night.

i have been feeling more connected with luke lately.  we have been managing to spend alone time together, which is wonderful for the both of us.  he is almost 8, but still likes to cuddle up next to me, snuggle in bed.  i know these days will not last, so i am enjoying every moment i have.

her special day came and went so fast.  hard to believe my baby is already 2.  how time flies.

she is such an amazing little girl.  we all love her.  her brothers dote on her.  each taking a turn to give her a ride in her new little tykes car, they each push her around for a lap.  lily, you absolutely rock my world.  i can't imagine a minute without you in it.

lets pray this year is easier then the last.  you truly are my little sunshine.
