It was the first day of school for Logan and Landon, I brought Lily down to PCH for her 18 month MRI scans. Following the scan, I brought her over to see her neuro oncologist. We were all surprised to see that her tumor had grown. It was not what we were expecting, but there it was. After several appointments and consultations it was decided to be in her best interest to have a port placed and start a new chemotherapy. This was the day of her scan.
