holly, jolly times

we hollied, we jollied, and we embraced all that Christmas had to give.  i hope to hold the memories deep in my heart.


.... landon was the jingle bell boy. he jingled his way through the house every morning. loved hearing his little jingle and footsteps following me close behind.  the force is now with us, i thought it was a thing of the past, but luke skywalker and the gang are back.

....lily made a break for the tree at every chance.  all those lights.  the first few days she would reach out her hand and pull it back, not sure what to think of all those pine needles.  slowly she has started to love the feel of it in her hands (and mouth).

....when we arrived home late on Christmas Eve, luke ran into the house to get everything ready for santa's arrival. he choose cookies, milk, even carrot rain deer treats.  he seemed so grown up, making sure it was all there.  and oh how his eyes gleamed with the star wars legos.  there have been a few bumps over this vacation, he has been writing his sorry's as they happen.

.... all logan has been asking for since the beginning of november is a remote control jeep.  he got it.  its been to the park and has ventured through every inch of the house.  then he gave a few things to lily, he did not feel like she got enough from santa.

all my little blessings.  all here, i am loving these moments with them.  i know the future is going to get a bit bumpy.
