beautiful owls have been gracing every room in the house. the boys move them, talk to them, play with them. 'which one is me, mommy?' 'does she know i like blue?' 'or maybe i am the polka dot one'. luke has made it a game, trading off which color they will each be for the day. lily always getting the pink, of course.
they warm my heart and make me smile each time i pass. each one handmade with love.
lily is a strong little girl, indeed, the lion suits her well. it gives me strength knowing that others are thinking of her and sending positive energy. on the hardest of days, i will feel their comfort.
