como park

today i was super mom. i braved the mini zoo, park, and amusement park by myself with all 4 littles.  many onlookers even commented on my braveness.  and i am proud to say that the onlookers were not commenting on it because we were impossible not to notice.  in fact, every last little boy was listening today.

luke was my helper to keep track of and round up all this brothers.  him and logan stuck together, with no fighting, just giggles. amazing.  when landon wondered off luke would bring him back to us.  if landon resisted, luke simply took his pacifier and he would follow.  okay, so it may not have been the nicest way to get his brother to follow, but it worked.  and there were no tears.  no fights and no tears, a dream come true.

we even had time to sit in the shade and have some ice cream.  and all the shade.  i am loving all these trees, shade, and grass.

then on to the long, extended route back to the hotel. (i am not a super mom in all areas.  there were several issues with navigation).  i have never been so excited to meet up with my husband and let him take over for a bit.  and he did. graciously. even though he has been working hard all day, he took us out for some yummy bites and a glass of wine.  its so nice to be together as a family in the evenings.  to finish our day together.

tomorrow the weather man calls for thunderstorms... all day.  so, next i am off to find an inside adventure for the day.
