halloween

i am not usually one to go all out for halloween, but this year was different.
costumes were worn to school.
festivities lasted all day and into the night.

i was the main organizer for logan's class party.  and after all the effort, when i asked him his favorite part he replied...free time.  of course, right?

landon enjoyed the petting zoo and visit to the pumpkin patch.  he was a bit terrified at the live scarecrow and was asking to go home by 9:30am...yawning and exhausted.

luke wrote in his journal that he has the worst parents ever since we did not let him trick or treat long enough, or let him eat all his candy, or let him go alone, or stay up all night.  what awful parents we are.

lily survived the day.  her first year going up to doors and carrying her little pumpkin basket. adorable.

wish i had captured more memories with my camera, but i hold them dear in my mind.
