today we ventured back in time and became pioneers. every last one of the littles at school came dressed in bonnets, cowboy hats, carrying pail lunches.
luke became william clark for the day. his presentation was great, he memorized it all and did not even take his note cards with him. he said it was his best day at school so far. on thursday he has a field trip. to a cookie factory. no wonder he loves school!
logan was a bit overwhelmed after milking the cows, doing laundry by hand, making a belt, and a few brackets... he was asking if he could go home.
landon ran and played with his preschool crowd. i love that he is friends with the younger siblings of his brothers. it has made life so much easier having them all at one school.
lily just followed along. in the morning she patiently sat during the 2nd grade presentations. clapping her hands each time someone finished. she danced to 'clementine' and a few other songs they sang.
these pioneers will remember this day for years to come. i am sure of it.
Must say I loved watching those Lewis boys milking that cow. Boy didn't they all have such fun!!!!

I just loved the picture of Lily in her pretty floral dress, eating apple and looking up into the camera. Was there mischief in those eyes? I love a little mischief.
